Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
Last Updated: June 1, 2026
Timothy Doud: Allstate (the "Agency," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit www.timdoudagency.com (the "Site"), contact us, request a quote, or otherwise interact with our Agency.
This Policy covers information collected through the Site and through our Agency's marketing and service activities. It does not cover information you provide directly to Allstate Insurance Company or its affiliates as part of an actual insurance application, policy, or claim — that information is handled under Allstate's own privacy notices. See "Insurance Privacy Notice" below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or quote form, ask about a policy, or otherwise reach out, we collect what you provide, which may include:
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Date of birth
- Information about vehicles, homes, property, or other items you want to insure
- The type of insurance you're asking about and the details of your request
- Any additional information you choose to share in a message or conversation
Some of this information — for example, your date of birth combined with details about the property or vehicles you want to insure — may be considered Nonpublic Personal Information under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). We treat that information accordingly (see Section 4).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the referring site
- Information from cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5)
Information from third parties. We may receive information from advertising platforms, analytics providers, or business partners — for example, aggregated reports about how visitors found the Site or interacted with our ads.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions, requests, and quote inquiries
- Help you understand insurance options and connect you with appropriate coverage
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Send communications you've requested or that relate to your inquiry
- Measure how our marketing and ads are performing
- Detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and misuse of the Site
- Comply with legal obligations and Allstate's requirements for affiliated agencies
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- With Allstate Insurance Company and its affiliates when needed to provide quotes, issue or service insurance policies, or handle claims. Allstate's handling of that information is governed by Allstate's privacy notices.
- With service providers that help us operate the Site and the Agency — including our website host (Webflow), analytics provider (Google Analytics), and advertising platform (Meta/Facebook). These providers may use information only to perform services for us.
- For advertising and analytics as described in Section 5.
- When required by law — for example, in response to a subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- In connection with a business transfer if the Agency is involved in a sale, merger, or restructuring, subject to the protections of this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Please note that some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include the use of advertising tools such as Meta Custom Audiences or similar features. To the extent we use such features, you can opt out using the methods in Section 5 and exercise the rights described in Section 7.
4. Insurance Privacy Notice (GLBA)
As a licensed insurance agency, we are subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy laws. Nonpublic Personal Information collected in connection with insurance products — which may include information such as your date of birth and details about the property, vehicles, or coverage you're seeking — is handled in accordance with Allstate Insurance Company's privacy notice and applicable insurance regulations.
To review Allstate's privacy notice and your rights regarding insurance-related information, please see: https://www.allstate.com/privacy-center/aic-privacy-statement
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, measure performance, and support marketing:
- Strictly necessary cookies for basic Site functionality.
- Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics 4, which help us understand how visitors use the Site.
- Advertising cookies and pixels, including the Meta Pixel (Facebook). These tools may share certain information with Meta to help us measure ad performance and show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, including through audience-matching features.
Managing your choices. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through:
- Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info
- Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
- Meta/Facebook ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences
- Google ad settings: https://adssettings.google.com
Opting out doesn't stop all ads — it stops ads being targeted based on your activity across sites.
6. Your Choices
- Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails or texts using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us (Section 9). Opting out of marketing doesn't stop transactional messages, such as a reply to a quote you requested.
- Form submissions. You can decline to provide information, but that may limit our ability to respond or provide a quote.
- Do Not Track. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Indiana residents. Under the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act (effective January 1, 2026), Indiana residents have the right to: confirm whether we process their personal data and access it; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9. You also have the right to appeal a refusal to act on your request.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) have similar rights — access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising or sale/sharing.
To submit a request, contact us using the details in Section 9. We'll verify your identity before responding and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take protection of your information seriously.

10. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can remove it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites (such as Allstate corporate pages, claims portals, or social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy notices separately.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last Updated" date above. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice, such as a banner on the Site.
